Honestly, I think the reason nobody emphasizes the shorting issue, is because there isn't 100% concrete evidence to measure the extent of it.
I personally look at it as icing on the cake, with a possible massive payout to all of us. I also don't care either way, because I believe the company is solid and will move up on its own merits.
