I used to watch Ancient Aliens a lot...

What I find puzzling is all those shows about islands with SECRETS. I've never watched any of them. And then there's also Skinwalker Ranch, which I think is not on an island, but may as well be. They've all been on for I don't know how many seasons. shouldn't they have run out of SECRETS?

I gather the actors all pretend to take the premise--which, I suppose, involves finding SECRETS on islands or ranches--seriously. I wonder if they spend their downtime on set drinking beer and laughing their heads off.

I was watching a recent episode of John Oliver's "This Week Tonight" where he discussed UFOs.

They included lots of clips where people described the flying saucers and other unexplained objects that they saw in the sky. John Chancellor, who was the anchor of the NBC Nightly News back in the day chuckled as he read the account of someone who had seen a flying saucer, which the observer said was conveniently marked with the letters "UFO" on the side.
