well, I'm not going to heaven so you can scratch that. Poco was my only purebred dog, the other three were mutts and in my childhood, so they were the whole family's and not mine per se... The one I have now is only because a close friend died unexpectedly and I was the only one who stepped to the plate to take care of her.
I have eventually learned the reasons why so many others passed on the opportunity. LOL she's an absolute handful, at least I got her housebroken. We didn't do so well in training and it turned out to be a waste of time and money but after having the champ that I did before, I can't let this one go. I know how to do it by myself anyway.
I now trust the kitty to keep her in check, which might sound weird but it's working. It's like the Wagner Group marching to Moscow around here most days. One terrorist flagging the other..
