Looking at radar right now over Chicago and you have a build up traveling n/e on both sides of you. But open right over you. The system is spinning counter clockwise and large. You got rain right now for sure. Some nasty stuff missed you to the west. But some heavy action is slowly moving eastbound and may yet spin into you. Put out some pots to catch water, it still may be clean enough for indoor plants.
