Listen to his rally... He's chatty. Likeable. Seemingly affable..... And he's hitting all the notes. Democrats would do FAR BETTER studying him & seeing what lessons can be learned. In 2016, folks dismissed that he'd have success: And even in 2020 the Dems OVERCONFIDENCE was palpable: Biden barely won!
People are hurting, angry, fed up with a political (CORPORATACRACY) system that is NOT serving them! It's as if they're listening (& enraptured) by the beat & melody; & aren't paying so much attention to the lyrics. They like the music! Others LOVE what he has to say... But aren't examining his integrity: History/ACTIONS!
Are they correct in putting their faith, trust, belief, etc., in the CONald? No, not in my opinion: He's dangerous. And has a very lengthy history of lies & 'criminality' dating back to his inheritance; and in business: Often paying fines, fees, penalties, etc., in exchange for (NO ADMISSION OF GUILT -- that shit should be ABOLISHED in the U.S.)... And lots of allies, supporters, accomplices, etc., that go along with what he says & does.
I counted 18 attorneys that have been SANCTIONED (already):
Some suspended, lost their licenses, some went to jail, facing jail time, 4 plead guilty, Giuliani facing another battle after a $148M judgement (which had him filing Bankruptcy), 40/44 former cabinet members won't endorse him, dozens of folks (including Trump Org. CFO Allen Weisselberg; just now convicted for the SECOND TIME - with another 5mos stint in the clink) who have worked for him & few have ever spilled the beans.
All this, even the NY Times did a thorough analysis of his finances, tax records, reported FRAUD, etc., & then have since kinda 'backed off'. Why?
How does he get away with all of it? I have family in law enforcement AND in law. A couple of whom are scholars & teach LAW in University. Now, is Trump about to get his comeuppance? Is he The NEW IMPROVED Teflon Don? So far, he has been! But whether or not he's clean, he has struck a chord as an ANTI-Establishment CANDIDATE.
> Did he "DRAIN the SWAMP" last term? No
> Did he "build the wall, on time, underbudget & get Mexico to pay for it"? No.
The wall is incomplete, costs 5x (what was budgeted) & included only 49miles of NEW WALL -- & Mexico did not pay A SINGLE PENNY! Not a ONE!
In fact, Trump arguably accomplished ~23% of what he claimed in his Campaign Speeches & PROMISES (according to Politico: Which FACT CHECKS ALL former Presidents on their promises & delivery)
There is something about the chord he is striking, how hard he's working, the LIES THEY WANT to believe to be true:
[] I'm doing this for you! (meaning, facing condemnation, jail time, etc.)
[] If I were President... (everything BAD that's happening would NOT be)
[] Nicknames, name-calling & bullying... Perhaps people WANT someone to BLAME! Trump delivers!
The aforementioned came from LISTENING to his RALLY last night! Representing SOME of the themes he hit on which the CROWD seemed to LOVE!
So Trump is hitting all the notes. He's spending time with them! He's consistent. He's energetic. And seemingly beloved as someone who is "moving the country forward", "strong", "loves His Country", "a Businessman... (& not a Politician)".... And, at the end of the day, while one might ARGUE that Biden is GOVERNING -- & busy doing the business of the Nation.
Meanwhile, Trump is connecting. Talking TO THEM! And they like,... no: LOVE IT!! Many are suggesting bad tidings if He does NOT win again - & firmly believe the 2020 Election was STOLEN!! Despite the extensive & exhaustive 8 PROMINENT REPUBLICAN PAPER investigating the matter & stating -- UNEQUIVOCABLY: 2020 Election LOST,... not stolen!
& despite so many; former employees, cabinet members, White House aides, etc., declaring & stating derogatory things about ANOTHER TERM under Trump. And yet,... Criminal case & all,...Trump may be setting the stage (per Rep Speaker MAL visit) for a Civil War if he DOES NOT win in November...! Perhaps trying hard to have something to PARLAY if things do not go his way... I guess we'll see...
Time will tell,.... ALWAYS DOES!!
