RDGL has a single new patent, an "improved" process patent. That is not going to stop generic entry of the pre 2021-22 version, you know the version that saved all those animals. Moreover, there is no evidence whatsoever the "improved" process yields any performance advantages over the now public domain version. Likewise with the "improved" application patents pending (if granted); none of those can stop generic entry of the public domain version. That's what happens when patents expire; the tech becomes public domain.
