Fact is: When they pull up Treasure and there is Big Media coverage of such, there is NO Telling how high and fast the PPS will Spike.

treasure find announcement. At least gum up the works a bit.

Add to it SFRX's claim of NEVER selling any treasure, and this could be problematic for those expecting an announcement soon. SFRX would want TOP DOLLAR, as that and museum exhibits, replicas, etc., are said to be their revenue model.

These media deals require secrecy. They want the exclusive, and they generally produce the product months in advance, if not a year or so. So, if they were out there today recovering treasure, it may be the fall before that would be allowed to be disclosed.

Please note: I do not believe there is any treasure to recover but I am willing to eat crow. TB said he would fry me some up. I'll hit it with some hot sauce.

I'd also expect a PR on a media deal prior to a treasure announcement but I'm sure when the site is prepped and ready to go SFRX will go for the treasure targets regardless of a media contract or not. The media contract is different than the media coverage of them beginning to excavate SeaSearcher treasure targets. That of course won't need a contract and imo they are already setup on the media coverage front.
