#465146 RE: blackhawks #465139

When I was 10 years old, I stayed up to watch the debate between Nixon and Kennedy. Nixon appeared sweaty and just did not say anything to make him stand out. Then there was Kennedy, sure he was younger, but he was relaxed and stated his vision for becoming the president.

I liked Kennedy, but I was only 10 years old.

Now at the age of 73, I have seen politicians come and go. I look at trump and wonder why the republicans have scraped the bottom of the barrel. The country even watched him for four years, and his policies did nothing to make America a better nation. People can debate all they want that he has the support of the country. Again, I can understand why those places of the country support him, I live here in Tennessee. It reminds me of when I traveled to Kentucky to look at a college that accepted me way back in 1969. It was Union College, in Barbourville, Kentucky. My Uncle lived in Lexington after another IBM transfer, and I was spending a week visiting him.

Long story short, I drove to that school to take a look and knew this was not the place for me. Now it is 2024 and I see trump vs Biden, and the choice is simple, it is President Biden. I mentioned this story because some things are easy, come November, the voters will make that same decision. I am praying that they choose President Biden.
