Disappointed to see this filed but just because it indicates the thieves in our government aren’t going to settle. It’s also obvious they can drag any case out as long as they want. I’ll still hold on principle but this experience has made me sad for America

Whatever backstop Treasury provided has been paid, and does NOT necessitate the taking of the future profits for public benefit.

An opinion that has absolutely no bearing on what Treasury will end up doing with its senior prefs and warrants.

Takings are allowed by statute but not without just compensation.

All the takings lawsuits over the NWS, and even the Washington Federal which wanted money damages for shareholders as of the day of conservatorship, have been dismissed in their entirety. A few of them are still twitching like Kelly and Fisher, but it won't be long until those cases are completely dead too.

A travesty of justice, but one we must live with.
