DR_rugby, got some information for you to check out concerning the OCC margin rules proposition.
Do not have cut and paste at this time.
Will explain this rule later, but in the meantime please go to AMCBIGGUMS youtube latest video. 13 hours ago. He explains it in detail and also explains what retail should do in contacting the SEC.
The OCC should not be allowed to utilize their Global Settings during times of extreme volatility in order to reduce both margin requirements and collateral requirements for those experiencing a shortfall.
The OCC proposes to use these Global Settings in cases of extreme volatility like they did during COVID and like they did during the MEME event we experience when $GME and $AMC squeezed.
OCC needs to use REGULAR settings, not Global Settings at these times of crazy volatility in order to expose money these banks do not have in order to cover margins. The OCC wants to avoid any MOASS from happening. Hey, if the banks don't have $20 billion in collateral to cover screw them. Let someone be accountable for the shortfall and let the banks go under.
All $AMC shareholders should listen to AMCBIGGUMS latest video about.this rule.
Thanks for the heads up DR_rugby. Good stuff.
$AMC baby~!
