They probably didn't imagine the expansion of the U.S and wouldn't want the gun culture of Wyoming expanded to urban areas or 500K people having the same representation as 20M people.

LOL, listen dude, the founders that you speak of were born over 300 years ago. Do you actually think they considered telephones let alone the internet in their writing?

Not to mention that you have any clue about what those men would think now.

It's what you think, it's what the current electorate thinks, it's not about some ancient rich slaveholders that started a war so they didn't have to pay taxes.

As for one going rogue, the founders never could imagine what all has brought it about..

They were, in fact, very concerned about the rise of a tyrant. Makes sense, given that they'd fought a revolution against the King of England, whom they regarded as just that.

And as for what was happening in major cities, they knew all about tensions in France. The Revolution started in 1789, after all; the Terror began a few years later. The cities AND the countryside of France were a mess. What followed that? A period of uncertainty, and then just what the founders feared: a new tyrant, in the form of Napoleon.

You really should do some reading.
