It does exist alsteps...I took his post has a future event that is quite likely to occur...which I hope it does not...but if it does there will not be any kind of announcement or contact to investors...the ticker symbol in your account will simply just disappear and if like an Ameritrade account the ticker will be replaced by a 9-digit number....and that will be it....that will be your only notification.
