There are good arguments to that effect but if you read the article
It not only would add significant billions but
Was at the suggestion of some of those very super rich
(which is cause for suspicion ;)

Taxing the rich is a set up for paying people to do nothing, the worst of all scenarios...

Do google some of the contemporary pilot projects where
Unemployed Peeps were in fact given a living wage and
They absolutely exploded into productive and creative endeavor
And became self-sufficient in their new businesses

They need to take less and let people earn more...Period

Higher taxes on marginal income seems to encourage that. As the government's take rises, employers are more likely to pay more and reinvest more.

As rates dropped dramatically in the early 80s workers harvested less and less of the productivity gains.
