Most people do not procrastinate I voted NO a month before the SPAC. I also voted a month before the AGM
Curious why a majority of GX shareholders would vote for the merger and then not convert their shares to NioCorp shares unless they were spooked by the 2nd largest bank failure
Zero risk redeeming shares that c/w warrants. They voted yes so their warrants would not be invalid and useless.
They should outlaw SPACS. The SPAC Shareholders can’t lose, unless the merging company fails. But at that point they would have the same risk as the merging companies shareholders, as investors.
In my opinion when the vote happens to accept the merger that should be the same time the shares are locked in and unable to be redeemed. And the SPAC shareholders should vote first, to give the merging company shareholders the option to accept or reject what the SPAC shareholders have made real.
All the risk is on the shoulders of the merging companies shareholders and that’s just wrong.
AO, I can't provide factual data in much the same way that I can't provide factual data on when shareholders cast their votes on the agenda for NB's annual meeting. The choice about redeeming or not was known well in advance. Why wait to the last minute? I don't know why GX shareholders would vote for the merger and then not convert their shares. At the end of the day, in the absence of clear cut factual information, you can choose to accept managements' explanation or be skeptical of that explanation. Both positions have merit.
