The verizon pre-trial date is scheduled for July 7th, not in November. and is indicative of what's to come in the tMobile case. There's been a lot of uncertainty there (with tMob) from an outsiders perspective and IMO these 2 cases are tied closely because of the MG patent. I don't think Albright would schedule of Verizon trial date with outstanding/pending patent validity questions/uncertainty with tMob, know what I mean? So I'm hoping we also see something from Albright soon there, there's just a lot more BS motions from tMob for him to address (shoot down) in his decision.
VP's PPS IMO has always been a fickle beast. I would think with the latest 606 re-examination win, the amazon case is in full steam ahead and a May trial date there is still valid. It might get pushed out a bit, but I don't think much past June. With a strengthened 606 and expanded patents in India (Amazon's recent move into that region should place others on notice along with Emil's recent PR of "interested parties"), a whole list of other infringers that were notified years ago, the infringement amounts bogle the mind. The Verizon trial date being set puts both V and tMob on the clock without much more they can do to stay/stop it and we're talking $6B in damages (without treble) there.
You would think that we should be in the .30-.40 range at least, but here we sit in the absolute PPS toilet. Great time to buy IMO. And yes, the insider selling is without doubt impacting the current PPS, it's obvious now that it is; however, it's an insignificant amount of share being traded based on the amount of shares they have and is being done IMO because of some need and has nothing to do with any sort of insider knowledge. If we look at all the folks with shares who could be considered insiders that are privy to insider knowledge that aren't selling, well then it should be obvious that that vast majority of insiders are holding.
I'd like to say that we see a bump up here, but it wouldn't be the first time I'm wrong there; however, IMO, things are going to start picking up in the near coming months.
