Don't mind him promoting preferred to convince himself that he made the right decision. I am very suspicious of him for trying to stop us from exposing the government fraud. The only logical reason to stop the exposure is if he himself is somehow connected to the fraud. I don't doubt that he now holds preferred as he claims. But maybe, so do all the former detractors who are now are asking the government to release Fannie and Freddie.
