Are you using numbers from the otcshortreport - which uses short volume? You need to be looking at the O/S because there could be shares issued but restricted that wouldn't be in the float.
There is absolutely nothing nefarious going on with naked shorting, dark pools any type of shorting. After a reverse split the shorting increases.
The problem is Michery setup Mullen as a share selling scheme from the beginning.
What kind of an idiot tells shareholders that Mullen has operating capital for 2 years but gets a $50M loan with a $18M Discount - meaning Mullen receives $32M but has to repay $50M plus interest for a 3 month loan.
