By having efficient equipment for one, also let's not forget what's happening January 10th... SEC ruling on Bitcoin ETF's which will increase the mining needs. There is no gloom and doom here as mining for BTC has not been able to keep up with the current demand.

No worse off then as now, Adding more miners will have same effect as well
