I'm sure you've noticed and it's kind of trivial, that internet articles almost always has some sort of photo to go along with the headline? Most the time it doesn't even really go with it. But anyways, start checking out the photos a little closer and it'll reveal a little inside joking going on with art directors and what used to be called copy art editors which of course has evolved with the instantaneous availability of uncountable digital images art directors have at their 'fingertips'.

See this story.

Now knowing that the site has instant access to millions of ODSP images, they picked that one. Kind of descriptive, yes? But what I'm writing about is back in the day when I was in that part of media, even though a different medium, it was the same whereas I knew my counter parts in different media across the country were always playing an insiders game of upperage. We tried to see what we could get away with. Certainly it's much the same in any field where one has other competition, but mostly for the general publics consumption.

I think writers pull the same stuff where something is mostly noticed by other writers and not the general public. We did the same thing in fashion shoots with reflections and such. What I'm trying to say is there can be a whole nother world behind the visual/media that joe doe isn't aware of.

This stuff gets past the general smart public, just imagine how hopeless maga's are.
