#666 RE: TwoEdgedSword #664

TwoEdged, no bait, no hook. I wasn't commenting on the worth of OSSG as a function of its assets. What I was commenting on applies to any stock. Not being able to buy at the bid when there are no shares traded doesn't imply it's worth more than the ask. IBM, Ford, BOA, anybody. Secondly, when you have shares in your portfolio, regardless of the close or the bid or the ask, your portfolio is valued based on the shares priced only at the bid.

That is simply how portfolios are evaluated -- what they can be sold for. When spreads are very wide (as the pinks often are) this can mean a sizable difference between the closing or intraday value and the portfolio value of any given bunch of stocks.

My example of that being how funds are valued was not meant as a reference to my view of OSSG's intrinsic value or pricing. None of this has anything that has unique significance to OSSG.
