I don't assume it is ignored. I assume that they write both off as part of a trade to release FF, convert their warrants, and receive a written contract saying something to the affect of no further lawsuits may stem from their time in conservatorship.
The value of preventing the lawsuits is fairly immense in my mind when everyone just wants to move on. Otherwise like I said the shareholders who make big decisions like who sits on the board and who becomes CEO will likely find candidates willing to draw up relevant lawsuits to invalidate the NWS payments and make a mess out of everything.
