Yes. The same reason for the share price. Except you said it’s because the company “has done” things to cause it - referring to all past failures and disappointments and perceived malfeasance. That’s not what the sober investor does.
I said it’s because the company ”hasn’t done” things. I look back at all the obstacles they’ve overcome and new things they’ve learned, and I see that photo and see a startup that has evolved into something that may finally be ready to go prime time and get this done. They’re FAR ahead of the better funded competition.
If they hit yet another obstacle, I’ll reassess and decide if it’s worth hanging around. I certainly won’t hang around crying foul til the end of time. I’ll just move on. That’s what the sober investor does.
Not saying this with you in mind. I’ve got the dunces who commented on facebook in mind. They act like scorned victims who just can’t wait to take a swing at their abuser. Fools. They out themselves as children who shouldn’t be speculating on startups.
