brooklyn13, Summing your position thus far on the war -- "it's war." I think the law says something like you use appropriate force on that attacker, as needed to stop the immediate threat.

Law and human decency determines sets the terms of your response.

"Here's an imperfect analogy. Let's say you're walking down the street with your granddaughter, who's a high schooler. Out of nowhere, some random dude comes up to you and punches your granddaughter in the face so hard that she winds up knocked out or hospitalized.
P - Does her attacker, then, get to set the terms of your response? How hard you can hit him back or how many times? Because that seems to be pretty much what you're doing.
"

To take your shithouse analogy further it seems your position on the war would suggest you would kill the attacker if you were strong enough. Would you?

How far would you go if the attacker was one of a group. In Korea would you have been with Truman or MacArthur?

Well , after that scenario... I would kill him. Then I would kill his whole family and any one who he had contacted. I'd kill every one of them with our arsenal.

Kill , kill, kill..... everyone dead. I don't care about the innocents or the hostages because I'd kill them too.

It's not rocket science dude. The middle east is about to blow up again because of the Israeli state.

Because I am 73 years old, I hopefully would be smart of enough to take a picture of this abductor with my smart phone, or at least give a good description of the person to the police. I doubt at this age I would attack this person, and depending upon the circumstances would care more about getting medical treatment for my Granddaughter.

Since I live in America, I would have the person arrested, what do you want me to do, to take out my weapon and shoot the mother fucker. My crew once asked me a question about a scenario where my son killed someone, and they asked me what I would do. Would I protect him. I politely told them that I would advise my son to turn himself in to the police, and that he would need a lawyer to defend himself.

Your question is redundant, why would I ever hit the guy, for hitting my Granddaughter. That makes no sense. I would see that he was arrested and charged with battery.

No... I would follow him home and massacre his family, and every other family in his neighborhood, then I'd go looking for everyone he associated with and wipe out all their families and everyone in their neighborhoods... just like you would, you sociopathic criminal.
