Once again only a moronic asshole like yourself could frame an argument or even a discussion around the killing of children as just an accepted result of any war.
Truman did drop those bombs to prevent the invasion of American troops on Japanese soil, in the belief that Japan would stop its war of aggression. They dropped the first bomb, and when Truman did not get the result he wanted, he ordered the second bomb to be drop, the Japanese did surrender.
Now you are comparing that war to this war in the middle east. There is no comparison, what happened in Israel could have been preventable if Netanyahu did not keep building walls and taking land that the Palestinian people once had.
You seem to think that this war in the middle east was entirely one sided. Sure, what Hamas did was totally wrong, and no one is defending those actions. Israel has the right to defend itself, but doesn't Israel share some of the blame by its hardline approach to the area known as Gaza.
What I take exception to is your approach to the thousands of children who are being killed each week. When these children grow up they will remember what happened to their family and friends and harbor some really bad thoughts. Who knows how those thoughts will be played out in the decades ahead. People always think that any action is necessary without thinking down the road to what will happen.
