The United States has the largest gold reserves in the World. and ranks above the three largest countries in Europe....If the US wanted, they could control the price of Gold as payments in the oil markets between the Saudis and Russia...who is going to protect Russia if they lose the War and have to pay for the reconstruction of Ukraine for war crimes... the Ruble is in the toilet, and and foreign reserves of gold held in Fort Knox for Russia has been seized already, and Russia will be made to pay for Ukraine reconstruction....one more nail in Russia's coffin will be when Ukraine is granted status in Nato, then the wheels will come off in Russia...Lodas

back in 1957, during the crisis in Suez, Briton, France and Israel were going to attack Egypt because Egypt threatened to close shipping in the canal....President Eisenhower was not notified of this attack beforehand, and threatened the Bank of England that the U,S. would SHORT THE POUND ( english currency) to Zero if they did not pull the troops back from attacking Egypt...France, then led by DeGaulle got pissed off, and gave the plans to make the atomic bomb to Israel...ever since then, relations between France and the U.S were strained... we saw "strain" in 9/11 when French and American trade became rattled, and we refused to buy wine, and changed the wording from "French Fries to Freedom Fries"...my point?...dont mess with them that holds the most gold!!.... Look at it this way if the pps for oil drops buy…….when the banking crisis happened there were many opportunities to buy low everywhere across the market….eventually things have a way of going back up…maybe Reddit or other influencers will play a factor as well….
