I would have thought that December would have been good for both companies in the past, as you have holiday shopping surges and demand. It must be when the companies would try and deplete inventory levels of their CPUs and GPUs, as new products would be offered in the coming year. For some reason, AMD really takes a hit in September as well. I imagine all companies have normal cycles.
Things change though, as have NVIDIA's main source of revenue. Revenues as well as profits will continue to skyrocket for the foreseeable future.
