Very interesting, Nocona, I'll study the concept you're experimenting with. For now, I'm going to watch the volume bars on the five-minute CCI-144 chart. Sudden jumps in volume, when combined with 3/8 or 2/5 confirmations, seem to be useful triggers. Two

Nocona, I developed a 5-min QQQQ chart that uses the DMI-14 and breaks out the DI+ and DI- as separate elements. This chart also uses the SMA-8 and SMA-20 on the priceline. If you set up this chart, it may generate some ideas. Watch, for instance, the crossovers of the priceline by the SMA-8. They are usually very accurate, but sometimes can provide whipsaws. Also, I've found that the crossovers of the ADX line by the DI+ and DI- are excellent "early warnings" that the price direction is changing. Sometimes, during a slow grind up or down, whichever DI is on top is the tip-off to stay invested in that mode, so to speak. I'd be interested in your thoughts re. this chart. Two
