I think my suspicion may have been corroborated today by Baudax, who filed an NT 10-Q for the 3rd quarter, and noted the following reason for the delay.
"Baudax Bio, Inc. (the “Company”) has determined that it is unable, without unreasonable effort or expense, to file its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the fiscal quarter ended September 30, 2023 (the “10-Q”) by the prescribed due date due toongoing analysis of the accounting treatment of current and past financing transactions by the company."
