I think we're all a little edgy lately when it comes to VP. It's hard to stay pumped and positive with very little to go on except for what we find and distribute amongst each other. I apologize if i came off critical, prophet. i didn't mean to offend; however, I have read a lot of the filings and I must say I still feel very good about where this ends up. Hudnell's work is truly solid.
And, that's right, none of the tMob sanction nonsense has anything to do with patent validity. I would say it's a stretch to think the tMob gets anywhere with it. It's kind of funny, they have unlimited funds to fight VP and that's the best defense they can come up with. They are literally just throwing anything on the wall at this point.
And, the 606 re-examination response from Steve M. Perry (THORPE NORTH & WESTERN) is rock solid. It's hard for me to see amazons attempt there getting anywhere either.
What is odd to me is that I can't find any trial dates. I heard different things, but nothing in the filings on any dates.
I was able to dig up an amount in the filings tMob is being sued for and I think it was $3 bill, tMob let it slip in one of their response/filings. So, triple that for treble damages and double that for verizon. Oh ya, don't forget the Amazon rbr case too! AND, that would be a conservative damage assessment too. The numbers get crazy, but they're real and the trial is coming. Its' an unbelievable time to buy VP and that's what keeps me pumped. We just gotta hang in there a little longer.
Good night and be well!
