Yep. Good post. And until someone comes along with a proven better, it's capitalism and democracy for the longer term better good for more. Even Xi knows capitalism works. As you say American capitalism, more than some, can be extra rough on some edges, yet there are always many working to ameliorate them.
The question seems more to me whether or not Israel - that was the topic, right lol before brooklyn13 so craftily changed the course of the chat - deserves or needs to have the special relationship with the U.S.A. Why couldn't they be just another customer for the arms industry (not going away) rather than the U.S.'s biggest customer. No doubt there would be plenty of other countries that would appreciate a larger part of that pie.
