I don't have any credit cards. I do have a checking account with a debit card though, and I have alerted the bank. The account has about $60k in it because I am in the process of helping a kid buy a house. Sure gave me an adrenaline burst though!
I'd first call the card company as they do make mistakes and they will issue a chargeback. Now if they have a card present charge then one should cancel the card.
