Yep, that's why I always mail in. I get the ballot then I have a chance to go study stuff I might have missed before. I've complained here before about that because there are over a hundred judges and lower level nominees that I don't know so I have time to fire up the search engine and see what I am dealing with before I make a decision.
If I was in the box on voting day, I'd be clueless, a lot of people are. When I was working the last election, so many of them come asking for help which is not a problem but I cannot tell them who to vote for. I just don't want them to get frustrated and walk out on the process. People are relieved to find out that they don't have to vote for everything on the ballot.
When I told them they can just vote for one or two people that they want and go home knowing that their votes still count it seemed like all the stress left their body.
Of course, I put myself to the stress and make sure I check every line but they don't have to. It's not a high school pop quiz. Just answer the questions you want to and know your answer is always right, regardless of the outcome.
LOL I also push for mail in ballots even though I work for people who don't. It's so much easier than standing in a line.
Just get out and come see me to vote! Last year we had coffee and donuts with some afternoon pizza. The water is plentiful as well. Just vote, all the cool kids are doing it 😎
