And initially he must have believed the election was stolen just because Trump has told him so. That's a good question of yours re how could you mail a ballot without folding it. The Facebook post's claim about 30,000 "fake ballots" appears to stem from a recent episode of the show "War Room" with Steve Bannon, former Trump White House chief strategist. John Fredericks, a conservative radio host, asserted on the show that affidavits from four people who were in the room during a recount say up to 30,000 ballots are counterfeit.
As PolitiFact reported, those affidavits contain unverified allegations about the integrity of absentee ballots, including claims that they didn't have creases and came on different paper stock. They do not prove 30,000 ballots were fabricated.
LOL I've voted by mail for years. They used to send us giant envelopes that had the ballot in them and the return envelope was the same size. Now, in the last cycle they started folding them in half and putting it in a smaller envelope to save on postage.
At first, I was a little leery wondering if it was a legitimate ballot but everything went OK and I was just pearl clutching. Our mail-ins all have a crease now and I'm okay with that because of the money that the state saves by not using the oversized envelopes.
