The Republicans are having this tug of war, because 1/2 of the House is almost sane, while the other 1/2 are insane. That is a battle they are having in front of the entire country. Even worse when the rest of the world sees what has happened to the Republican party, they are wondering aloud can America be trusted on anything.
The Democratic Party is sitting back and watching from a distance. What else can they do, if the Republicans work with the Democratic Party, half of the members get upset. President Biden did not do this, the Republicans did it to themselves. They keep embracing Trump, and trump keeps changing his opinion as each day passes.
I cannot imagine what it must be like to have a uniform on, and aboard an aircraft carrier in the Middle East. Our resident trolls never seem to care about the actual military anymore, they cannot even find a Speaker to support.
