yes, but who wants to be sick for a week if you can avoid it - most people who get a flu shot are at very low risk of hospitalization but they get it so they don't come down with the flu (or as severe a case of it)
Even though the risk of hospitalization w RSV is relatively lower than say the flu, among those who are hospitalized severity of illness is usually worse
