You not only have to be a cult member to support RFK but also a science illiterate, conspiracy theory mongering, f'ing moron. He has more support from MAGAts than from Dems. Tells you all you need to know.

Hey I have an idea let’s start a cult of unaffiliated voters and take this next election like RFK is about to do here.

livefree_ordie, Opposing opinions are fine if they are rational and supported by good evidence. All opinions are not equal.

"You folks can support these foreign payments with our tax monies till your all blue in the face leave my share out of it. You folks just cannot stand to have someone with another opinion than yours."

I'll take it then you do not support giving aid to Ukraine. Yours is a dog eat dog world where the most powerful bully-aggressor would go unopposed. Yours would result in more wars. Your position argues against itself. That makes your pacifist-appearing position irrational.

"Like Hillary the other day saying that the MAGA folks all need to be deprogrammed because they are in a cult. Too funny using this logic then every Democratic Representative who always votes in lock step with Jeffries and Pelosi are all in a cult too as they have no minds of their own to really vote how they really think. Nope like you folks here always tow the line whether you agree or not as you all cannot think for yourselves either unless Biden farts it out to you all to swallow up. That to me is the real cult. Lock step, and there used to be a name for it but it fails me now. I am sure you can figure it out though."

No, because you act and think as a conservative troll, you take a too simplistically superficial view. Hillary did not say all Republicans who generally follow Republican leadership .. https://www.house.gov/leadership .. are in a cult. You frame it as though she did, even though she was only talking about the very small band of MAGA cult members who as Trump himself said would follow him to any gate of hell he chose to open (Think shooting someone on Fifth Ave and not losing a supporter.)

And yet again you baselessly insult those on this board who do more thinking for themselves than you have given any indication of being able to do for yourself.

And to repeat what others see in you (thanks to how you present yourself), that even though you say you do not support Trump you sure as fuck do enable him and his MAGA-cult followers.

"This is why this two party system does not work anymore for America. You all do know or realize tgat today the majority of voters who are registered are unaffiliated right? What does tgat tell you? Maybe nothing but to me simply put no one likes the two parties that you folks love. You are now in the minority of all American registered voting citizens."

Congratulations you got one stat right .. Sick Of Political Parties, Unaffiliated Voters Are Changing Politics
February 28, 20165:00 AM ET
By Renata Sago, Ben Markus, Jude Joffe-Block
[...]Turned off by the partisan wars in Washington, 39 percent of voters now identify themselves as independent rather than affiliated with one of the two major political parties, according to a 2014 analysis by the Pew Research Center. Self-identified Democrats accounted for 32 percent of the electorate, Republicans 23 percent.
[...]But many states require voters to affiliate with a party in order to take part in presidential primaries and caucuses.
[...]But these trends may be changing this election. Since September, 30,535 voters have registered with the Colorado Democratic party.
P - That includes voters such as Curtis Haverkamp, who attended a Bernie Sanders rally a few months back. At the rally, he learned unaffiliated voters like him couldn't participate in the caucus.
P - "Upon hearing that, I registered Democrat," recalled the 30-year-old Haverkamp, who lives in Denver.

Yet, even in getting something correct you have to rubbish others here with your "Maybe nothing but to me simply put
no one likes the two parties that you folks love. You are now in the minority of all American registered voting citizens.
"

And in that you misrepresent posters here. There are those here you have been critical of the Democrat Party. Rather than your "love" it would be much more accurate to say "prefer." If you said posters here prefer the Democrat Party over the GOP no one would have a beef with you. Yet all you do is rubbish people for that preference. You give no credit at all where it is due.

I'd guess you are like that for the same reason so many other trolls are too. You build yourself up by putting others down. No big deal, it's a very common attribute of many these days. Maybe you are not aware of it, even though you have been informed that's how you come across before.

OOI, if you had to affiliate to vote which party would you affiliate with if the Libertarian Party .. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libertarian_Party_(United_States) .. was not registered in your state. Rhetorical, as it's obvious your answer would, based on your prejudices be Republican.

"Hey I have an idea let’s start a cult of unaffiliated voters and take this next election like RFK is about to do here.
Too funny!!!!
"

if you are laughing at the conspiracy driven conservative (are they still called blue dogs) Democrat RFK then for once all here would be laughing with you.

Your problem is though because even though others here would agree with you on RFK we all see you as as simple-headed as he appears to be about so many things.

I don't mind other opinions if the person espousing them can debate them logically and they make sense. Unfortunately neither of those requirements are part of your repertoire. What I do like it that you expose your logical failings on practically every post.

So you would vote for RFK, because you think it would be funny. Once again you display your shallowness toward an election for president of the United States. This why you post what you do, and why no one cares about what you post. You cannot even care about anything.

livefree_ordie, See how by not getting it right you misrepresent people. You said

"Like Hillary the other day saying that the MAGA folks all need to be deprogrammed because they are in a cult."

But in context that's not what Hillary said. She was wondering

* "Maybe there needs to be a formal deprogramming of the cult members, but something needs to happen," she added.

The "maybe" makes all the difference. Hope you understand.

Once again watching this latest breaking news story with Israel and Hamas makes your views moot.

Your scenario would have America withdrawing from what happens in the world. so now America just closes its eyes to world trade, the oil markets, just what happens next. Someone will come in and fill the void, you want to watch China, or maybe even Russia dictate the terms that the world must adhere to.

The world, just like America is not just as simple as you want it to be. Even most Americans are never quite as simple as you want them to be. We all have known friends and family who are both conservative and liberal, and everything in between. No one is quite as you describe, I doubt almost anyone marches to the tune of any political party.

At times I have conservative views, and at other times I have liberal views. At other times I am dealing with my own life and couldn't care less about anything. I have that luxury, I can hide away in my office, or just do my projects around the house. But others in this country decided years ago that they have a higher calling. Just like our forefathers, they believe freedom is worthy of the fight, and struggles against people who believe America is just a country that cannot be bothered with whatever happens here and abroad.

Life is never as simple as you think it is, and it will never get easier. It will always be a daily struggle to ensure that everyone in America is free. Maybe that is why so many immigrants still want to come here. America had lots of problems, but when you look around the world, you will always know America will stand with almost anyone else in the world who also wants to be free.
