What if there actually was ineffective/inefficient Managment in place? Do we know it’s simply passing the Buck or might these changes help?

I hope it helps. What we do know is that Kim had those people in place for quite a long time. Why did it take him this long to figure out that there's a management problem? When was the last time he or Jon was over there? Businesses don't just run themselves. Someone at the upper level needs to get off their ass now and then and become aware of what the hell is going on. It's the same with the lab people. How many years did he fail to produce before realizing there was a personal problem? Do we even know what Kim does every day? Does he get up and go the Lab? Does he at least get reports from Vietnam? I don't think Jon has any expertise in the lab, so what the hell does he do every day?
