Doug: "Hello my favorite Attorney General, look into this BioAmber. Apparently it's a Ontario company".
AG: "Doug, it was a Quebec company, head quartered in Montreal. There are court documents that it was insolvent / liquidated in the Quebec federal court system. That the company is out of business, it couldn't turn a profit, lost hundreds of millions of dollars.
Doug: "What happened?"
AG: "Mismanagement, accounting fraud & over stating revenues. It went bankrupt through liquidation of it's assets in a Quebec court authorized CCAA liquidation/ bankruptcy. The creditors are still owed millions."
Doug: "I don't understand why former shareholders think they're owed money? The letter I received says they think they should be paid millions."
AG: "Well, you can't fix stupid"
