You sound like you live in Texas by relating to a 10,000 acres Texas ranch upon payout. My previous job took me all over Texas for many many years. Take me up on my 4000 CTs' shares and I will be your professional guide. See my recent posts. We both need 3500 diesel trucks to idle at truck stops in West Texas for many hours with the AC on. Safer at truck stops in my opinion day or night with the high traffic flow versus a hotel.

Most rancher use deep water wells out West. You can buy cattle cheap and truck then to Florida or Georgia until the drought expires in Texas. You need to be bi-coadtal with 1000 or more cattle. I spent nine years in Tennessee, which has had good hay when Texas had a drought at my old GM Saturn job. The car plant was built on a 2000 acres horse ranch.
