I even was scared at 10 years of age of how the election process worked. But my father assured me that in America we do this through the election process. I knew my father was in a war, and our next door neighbor had served in the German army. I also knew my father was for Nixon, but I just liked Kennedy. But that 1960 election was my introduction into politics.
