You're right. Wasted young guy in pub said, "Does anyone here agree with gay marriage." Silence. So i raised my hand in saying, 'Yep. Why not.' After a few words a couple other young guys interrupted him as he started to lunge toward me. Should have handled it better, by not getting angry and mentioning his mother.
