I use firefox, not the best out there, but better than most. Delete everything edge on your computer as all of edge programs are connected and track you.
I don't know about win 11, but 10 allows one to remove edge. Since it didn't really come mandated on win10 years ago. But you need help to do so because it's so ingrained.
Do a duckduckgo search on how to totally clean edge off your computer. Do NOT use any microsoft connected help site. Much of the microshit help forums are the same bots who always tells you not to remove anything. Which of course is just biz.
It wasn't bone headed at all. If you look around lots of these sites are designed to confuse and keep you in a loop and some purposely don't inform about navigation or links.
