Rosen stated that the Litigating Trust arm of the WMIL-T failed to pursue court action to pursue the 20 billion dollar claim WMI had against those that illegally took their assets... why?... WMI had to go to court and the time and expense would have been exorbitant and were draining their reserves...secondly, WMI got a better deal with the GSA, and settled all outstanding issues with all parties involved with RELEASES...this information shows up in the 10-k I posted on the board a few days ago... it was on page 37, Titled Litigation Proceeds..."as of Dec. 31, 2013, we had not received any litigation proceeds"...this 10-k was about a year after the chapter 11 was settled...as you recall, the Litigating Trust was supposed to prosecute claims to retrieve assets for UNSECURED PREFERRED AND COMMON SHARES... they did not prosecute anyone in court, except the employees claims, which were successful, and resulted in forfeiture of employees allocation of new shares in favor of equity shares prorated 75/25 to preferred and common claims...Lodas
