They run their agencies competently which what they get paid to do....

The treasury is dealing with inflation and is in the best position out of any western country in the world. Yes the first. Hard to imagine after the mess Trump left after Covid but that's a whole story republicans would rather forget.
The FHFA is in it's strongest position in about 15 years... what else is there to do but lend money and manage risk? You won't really have an answer you just like rhetoric.
