Did you read the plea agreement or the court transcript? I doubt it. Here, I'll give you a chance, check it out and give me your honest legal opinion...
I agree, a judge should be impartial and immune to politics regardless of who appointed them or what political party they belong to. Unfortunately that recently has not been the case with a lot of newly appointed judges so people have every right to be skeptical these days.
I agree with all the other legal eagles on both sides of the aisle that have said that Judge Noreika is doing a great job in this case. Not only did she prevent Weiss and his legal team from looking like the politicized fools that they are, she protected Hunter from signing on to a vaguely worded agreement that wasn't what it seemed, so good on her.
We shouldn't have to applaud judges for being fair and impartial, it should be expected but the federalist society and the GOP are really fucking that all up, all the way to the SCOTUS.
