Republicans did that years ago and by lowering the tax rate, they brought in more money because people were encouraged to trade more, lower tax rate, increase in dollars collected.
Democrats think by raising the tax rate, they get more money, but then people say screw that, trade less and the government collects LESS CASH.
Those lawyers in Congress should have minored in Economics. They just don’t get it.
