I guess I'm not really sure why we're having this discussion in the midst of discussing recent changes (since there are no recent changes to what you're referencing). So, I guess that's where my confusion comes in.

In general, Mods on general trading boards can pretty much have any User banned or restricted. They don't have the tools and just have to ask Admin to do so. I can't ever remember denying a request such as this.

If you're wanting to bitch about that specific board, save it please. Yes, it is an exception to many things for various reasons. We have noted your disagreement with these decisions.

As far as non-stock specific boards go…

Premium boards let moderators ban posters but free members can read but not post, iirc…

Mods cannot ban posters on free boards but if a board mod wants a poster banned then private message a Ihub mod to request it…
