Thanks for your response, Shelly. I just want to make a point that “Societal norms” is not the same when there’s anonymity.
Everyone has a handle and an avatar, and a persona that 90% of the time doesn’t jibe with real life. I would like to think that they wouldn’t behave the same way with their neighbors, or people they come across in daily life where they can do and say whatever they want without consequences.
I’ve seen my share of a-holes and it’s generally when they’re drunk and lose themselves in the moment. This, I often equate to social media life…full of virtual drunkards lol.
Expect riots! :-)
