Tend to agree. Depends on who is buying. And only MMs would have that kind of info.
If its insiders buying, that would be super bullish and MMs would know that.
I mean except for the recent PR, MVNT management hasn't publicly said anything for the past 3 years of financial importance. Now, all of a sudden, management releases news of a $10M contract! MMs and any shorts got caught with their pants down. MMs could be scrambling trying to cover any short positions they might have. Notice the big spreads (occasionally) between the bid and ask? As long as there are some sellers, MMs can keep their books balanced by selling at the ask and then covering at the bid. Especially with almost 2M shares traded, MMs can still keep things relatively in balance unless buying accelerates even more than it has already today. When buying accelerates more than usual, that's when things can get really CRAZY. That's what happened back in 2021 when MVNT had 2 consecutive trading days of over 20M shares each.
