I have had two covid shots, Moderna, and three boosters. I had Covid in the beginning of the outbreak, lost 15-20 lbs., ans self quarantined for two weeks. Took me three months to gain back 10 lbs. I was going to get another booster before Alaska, but didn't. On each plane there were many people coughing. I will get another booster after I see my lung doctor. After 60, your health should be your first priority. One more thing, do not fall down, period. My doctors always ask that question, and I know people who have fallen. So much shit.

Ouch, you have been through a lousy time. Sorry to hear it continues, except for the positive you included. Don't ever feel any post about
health here is a sympathy seeker in any way, as it is all meant, as yours, to inform. And to warn. Again thanks for keeping us up to date.

It seems like everyone has a different covid path. I was fully vaxxed and caught it at a wedding, but was only mildly sick for a day. The gal I went with to the wedding also got it, and I ended up taking care of her for 6 months, repeated ER visits, nebulizer treatments, enough cough suppressants to choke a horse. She would cough so hard that she threw up nearly every day. The doctors just said they only wanted her back when her oxygen got low, which it did a few times. Getting out of bed and going to the bathroom would get her so winded that she would gasp like crazy. Toward the end she would feel okay for a few days, then right back to coughing fits for several days, it eventually tapered off.
